As indicated in the aforementioned post, previously, in 'Google' "Chrome", you used to be able to go to "More Tools"; then, "Save page as ..", and, save a page/screen as, either, a "Webpage, HTML Only" or a "Webpage, Complete", as a "Download", to you computer.
Then, from wherever you downloaded the page/screen, view that saved page/screen, 'Off-Line' - for all intensive purpose, a "Screen Shot", at that time.
[ From a "Saved" page/screen, back in 2017 ]
Now, when you do so, you cannot view that saved page/screen, 'Off-Line' - it is just an "Blank"!
[ From a "Saved" page/screen, now ]
I was previously always doing this for "Merges"/"Combines"; when, I knew that the "Ordinances" would be 'mucked-up', with regard to the fault/flaw in the resulting "Display" in the "Family Tree" database; where, the "Temple" Work (ie. "Ordinances") for an individual/person ONLY have the word "Completed" and not the other two fields of a 'Date' and 'Temple' (or, "Completed" with 'Date' and not the other field of a 'Temple'; or, "Completed" with 'Temple' and not the other field of a 'Date'); and, that, even IF that "Ordinance" was "Completed" BEFORE that of the corresponding "Ordinance" of the "Merged"/"Combined" individual/person, that OLDER (ie. Earlier) "Ordinance" record will be OVERWRITTEN by the NEWER (ie. Later) completed "Ordinance" record, with all three fields (ie. 'Completed'; 'Date'; and, 'Temple'), particularly, for the "Ordinances" 'Tab'; so that, I at least had the BEFORE and AFTER, "Record" - "Saved" as HTML pages/screens.
What am I missing?
Is it something in the "Setting" of 'Google' "Chrome" that needs adjusting?
Is it that, both, "FamilySearch"; and, 'Google' "Chrome", have significantly changed?
And, it can no longer be done?
I want my BEFORE and AFTER, "Records"; but, as "Saved" as HTML pages/screens!
I consider that the significant "Change" to the "Person/Details" page/screen (ie. with the Separate 'Tabs') back on 5/6 September 2018 may have something to do with it - quite disappointing if it is the significant "Change" from back then - just another 'nail in the coffin' (please excuse the pun).

Floating Header ... Screen Shots
.
This previous post has a reference to the "Floating Header":
Just FYI: Sometimes after scrolling up on the website, the smaller header stays in view and does not disappear
https://getsatisfaction.com/familysea...
As indicated in the aforementioned post, I quite often take 'Screen Shots' of various pages/screens, I recently started using "FireShot" to do so, I am NOW (not so long ago) having serious problems/issues with taking 'Screen Shots' of, either, the 'Entire' page/screen; or, a large 'Selection' of a page/screen; and, after some thought/experimentation, I consider that the serious problems/issues in regard to the 'Screen Shots' are CAUSED by those/that "Floating" Header.
The reason that I consider such is that the resulting 'Screen Shots' finish up having that "Floating" Header appear a number of times in the 'Screen Shot'; especially, for an 'Entire' page/screen.
I have now also tried another THREE (x3) DIFFERENT 'Screen Shot' extensions for "Chrome", with the SAME sort of result as "FireShot"
So, not only does that "Floating" Header intermittently occur and is an annoyance while working in "Family Tree", that "Floating" Header also ALWAYS affects 'Screen Shots'; and, there is certainly a problem/issue with the "Floating" Header, which is a definite fault/flaw.
Now ...

Menus ... Printing (even as a "Saved" PDF Document)
.
As I was having problems/issues with "Screen Shots", I decided that I would instead "Print" the "Ordinance" 'Tab', as I had also done in the past; but, that too provided anomalies; and, discrepancies.
The "Menu" for the "Level" of an individual/person, while, 'On-Line" is currently:
"Menu" ; "Time Line"; "Sources"; "Collaborate"; "Memories"; and, "Ordinances" (for Members, only).
But, now, when the "Ordinance" 'Tab' is "Printed" (even as a "Saved" PDF Document), from the "Print" Option of the "Browser", that "Menu" for the "Level" of an individual/person can take on Two (x2) DIFFERENT formats, separate to that of the 'On-Line' version, of the "Menu", that seem to be a 'throwback' to the days prior to the "Change", of 5/6 September 2018 (last year), of the "Person/Details" screen/page into the various 'Tabs'.
The Two (x2) DIFFERENT formats are:
(1) When printed in "Portrait" format, the "Menu" is:
"Family"; "Sources"; "Discussions"; "Notes"; "Memories"; and, "Ordinances" (WITHOUT an 'icon').
(2) When printed in "Landscape" format, the "Menu" is:
"Sources"; "Collaborate"; "Memories"; and, "Ordinances" (WITH an 'Icon')
But, note, "Family" is missing/omitted.
And, what is also disappointing, is that the various generic "Menus" for the TOP "Level(s)" on ALL the pages/screens of, both, "FamilySearch"; and, individual/person, are missing/omitted.
Those various generic "Menus" for the TOP "Level(s)" being:
(1) "Messages"; "Volunteer"; and, "Help".
(2) "Family Search"; and, "Family Tree"; "Search"; "Memories"; "Indexing"; "Temple"; and, "User/Patron".
(3) "Tree"; "Person"; "Recents"; "Find'; "Lists"; and, "Help Others".
(4) "View Tree"; "Watch"; and, "View Relationship".
Admittedly, none of those "Menus" in a printed document service any purpose; but, they certainly show the "True" Picture of the "Ordinances" 'Tab', in full and proper context.
Not to forget to mention that the generic "Menu" for the BOTTOM "Level" on ALL the pages/screens of, both, "FamilySearch"; and, individual/person, is missing/omitted.
That generic "Menu" for the BOTTOM "Level" being:
"About"; "Volunteer"; "Blog"; "Feedback"; "Site Map"; "Solutions Gallery"; "Cookie Preferences"; ( 'World' Icon ) "[ Language ]".
Again, admittedly, that "Menu" in a printed document service any purpose; but, it certainly shows the "True" Picture of the "Ordinances" 'Tab', in full and proper context.
Here is what I am talking about:
.
Request ... address/fix
.
"FamilySearch" can you please look at the "Coding" of the various pages/screens to ensure that:
(1) ALL Pages/Screens CAN be "Save[d]"; and, later displayed as, either, a "Webpage, HTML Only" or a "Webpage, Complete", as a "Download"; and,
(2) "Screen Shots" are NOT disrupted/interspersed/hamstrung by the "Floating Header"; and,
(3) ALL Pages/Screens that are "Printed" (even as a "Saved" PDF Document) include ALL the CURRENT "Menus", showing the "True" Picture, in full and proper context.
Submitted for your information; consideration; and, attention.
'Thank You' in advance.

Here is an example of an annoying "Floating Header", that is 'stuck in the mud' (so to speak); well, it is "Floating"; but, certainly NOT moving with the rest of the page/screen, on the "Landscape" Pedigree view.
[ FYI: I moved the actual Pedigree 'out of sight' ]

Here is an example of an annoying "Floating Header", that is 'stuck in the mud' (so to speak); well, it is "Floating", time and time again; but, certainly NOT staying 'out of the way' in regard to a 'Full' page/screen "Screen Shot".
FYI:
(1) By the way that THICK "Black" BAND in the top half of the "Screen Shot" was NOT me redacting anything, it was naturally occurring!
(2) What about that 'Delightful' REOCCURRING "Light Bulb"!
(3) And, see how just about the WHOLE 'Bottom' of the page/screen is MISSING, being the 'Bottom' Menus; and, the Terms/Privacy/Provided by; and, the Church 'Logo'.

Here is an example of part of the problem(s)/issue(s) ...
And, what has a hand in causing the, Anomalies and Discrepancies, in relation to Tabs; and, Floating Headers; and, Menus, with regards to attempting to, "Save as Complete Web page"; and, "Screen Shots"; and, "Printing".
This has been happening intermittently; but, certainly, more frequently of late ...

I've run into this problem, but only on FHC computers with the FHC image. On my own Windows 10 computer with Chrome, I have not installed any snipping or screen capture tool. The FHC comptuers have a screen capture tool installed.
For my own Win 10 / Chrome combination, I use Alt-PrtScr and have no problems with either the floating header or the full header. The screen captured is always the full screen that is displayed.
Or am I missing something?0 -

I am on my 'Laptop' Computer (at Home; and/or, at the FHC).
I have not been trying such with the FHC Computers.
And, this happens with whatever "Browser" ('Google' "Chrome"; or, 'Mozilla' "FireFox") I am using with "Windows 10" (latest versions of all).
It only started recently, with regard to the "Floating" Headers.

FYI
'Nah', the "Floating" Header (and, the "Gap") problem/issue still exists.
The "Floating" Header (and, the "Gap") problem/issue may have been addressed/fixed on the "Person/Details" page/screen; but, certainly NOT in other places.

I DO NOT have to 'try had' to get the "System" to do things like this.
In this case, I was was just (ie. simply) accessing, the "Options", on the "Pedigree/Landscape" View.
Nothing, hard; or, even, technical ...

'Ah' ...
I am sorry ...
I did NEGLECT to add that my "Browser" (ie. "Chrome", with Windows 10") was at 110%.
It was NORMALLY at 125%, up until recently; but, with that NEW 'Top Line' Menu, I have had to use the lesser 110% - not happy; but, cannot do anything else.
At 100% or less, the problem/issue does not occur.
I hope this helps.

The "Floating" Header (and, the "Gap") problem/issue has NOT been addressed/fixed on the "Person/Details" page/screen ...
This was one of a few minutes ago.
Again, this is still been happening intermittently (and, across a number of pages/screens - not just the "Person/Details" page/screen); but, certainly NOT as frequently as before ...
And, DEFINITELY still the same problem/issue as in:
FamilySearch. Search Records (eg. "FamilySearch"). "Floating" Header. INTERMITTENT problem/issue. Annoying. Needs work/adjustment re "Gap"

NOTHING has changed.
