Phillip Blaine Merrill said: Hello. With the new Following section, we have lost the ability to sort by birth date. It would be very helpful to be able to sort by birth date especially since I use it to identify all those who have turned 110yrs old. Thanks.

We all share an active interest in using the resources of this site and as users, we have various levels of knowledge and experience and do our best to help each other with concerns, issues, and/or questions.

You may want to consider using one of the three fully certified family tree management programs (Ancestral Quest, Legacy, or Roots Magic). Even the free versions have the ability to download your ancestral lines and their descendants and then sort the results by various elements. The paid versions have more sorting and printing capabilities, but even the free versions offer a lot of flexibility in terms of reports.

We are currently working on adding the ability to sort by Name, First Name, Last name, Sex, and ID.

    These will release soon

Please see my comments elsewhere, but the ability to sort by First Name has been there from the start. Both "View By Person" and "Sort By Full Name" produce exactly the same list, however - of all the individuals you are following, in First Name order.
