What has all of a sudden happened with "MyHeritage" regarding "Sources"; and, "Saving" them to "FamilySearch", they now go to "Source Box"; and, NOT, the individual/person (ie. their "Source" 'Tab'); and, the "Source Box", if you so desired; as, they did, up until now!?
Or, do I need to address this, 'Question'; or, 'Problem'/'Issue'; or, 'Fault'/'Flaw', to "Myheritage"?
If it was "Myheritage"; then, they have RUINED it!
The old adage ... 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' ...
Well, they have 'broke' it now - absolutely USELESS!
It was SO MUCH better when the "Saving" was to the individual/person (ie. their "Source" 'Tab'); and, the "Source Box", if you so desired.

I was, in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch"; and, on the "Person/Details" page/screen of an individual/person.
I was, using "Search Records"; and, as I am 'connected' to "MyHeritage"; so, I searched "MyHeritage"; and, found an appropriate "Source" in "MyHeritage", that allowed me to "Attach source to FamilySearch"
Previously, normally, when doing this, the "Source" was saved again the individual/person (ie. their "Source" 'Tab'); and, the "Source Box", if one so desired.
NOT now, the ONLY option is that the "Source" is "Saved" to one's "Source Box" in "FamiySearch", that is it; and, certainly, NO opportunity to save against the individual/person (ie. their "Source" 'Tab'); and, the "Source Box", if one so desired.
NOW, you have to attach from your "Source Box" with NO ability/option to "Tag".
NOT GOOD.
NOT HAPPY.

joe martel said: I just tried this and it worked and attached for me. But I did notice in your first post that the person being attached to in not yet filled out (the spinner is spinning), so that might have been your problem. It should look llke this, with PID at the top, plus the tagging and sourcebox options. This action involves several services that have to be coordinated and if one is slow then there may be instances when things drop out. That spinner is your clue.

'G'Day', morning, from my 'neck of the woods', "Down Under".
[ ONLY through 'Mozilla' "FireFox" ... 'Google' "Chrome" ... STILL NOT working ... ]
'Yes', I know, I well know what it SHOULD look like.
I have been attaching the (Indexed ONLY) "Source" of the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II" from "MyHeritage" to individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" for some time now, well before they became available as "Sources" in "FamilySearch" (which happens to 'piggyback' on the Records from "FindMyPast" - I would prefer that it was "Ancestry.com" which has, both, an Index; and, an Image).
Up until yesterday, that 'Image' that you provided is what I always got.
Well, as of yesterday, I NO LONGER got that; and, instead I now get the 'Image' I provided in my original post.
And, 'Yes', I too noticed that "Spinning" 'Wheel' ...
I have made NO "Changes" to my ("Chrome") "Browser" of late, the only thing that I have done was upgrade to the updates of "Windows 10".
But, when I did that upgrade to the updates of "Windows 10" just recently, things were working just fine; even, with attaching "Sources" from "MyHeritage" to "FamilySearch".
The ONE thing that is ALSO odd; as of yesterday, is that when I went to access "My Feed" in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, instead of going straight to "My Feed" with ALL my 'Groups', I get the "Guest User" access with NO such 'Groups'. This happened initially; but, seemed to be O.K. latter in the day; whereas, late last night, in fact, the early hours of this morning (before I retired for the night), the problem/issue 'reared its ugly head again', very odd!!!???
'Yes', you might be right, that with the NEW demand on the INTERNET, due to 'Quarantine" and 'self-quarantine' all around the World; then, perhaps, the "co-ordination" between the likes of "FamilySearch" and "Myheritage" (and, the like) is the problem/issue.
Thing is that this happened each time I tried to attach a "Source" of the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II" from "MyHeritage" to individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch", yesterday; NOT, just a 'one off'.
Maybe, time will tell.

I wonder if that is also something to do with the NEW demand on the INTERNET, due to 'Quarantine" and 'self-quarantine' all around the World?

Weirder and Weirder ...
It is also the 'bewitching hour' ...
And, I have "Logged", both, "In" and "Out", a few times today.
Swapping between, both, my HOME internet; and, the FHC internet.
And, yet, the problem/issue still persists ...
Instead of getting to "Save" the "Source" to an individual/person in their "Sources" 'Tab', ONLY getting the option to "Save" the "Source" to MY "Source Box".
NOT GOOD.
NOT HAPPY.
NOT WHAT I WANT.
I just wonder if with that MAJOR problem/issue that "MyHeritage" had to address/fix recently, whether I DO need to "Clear" my "Cookies" and "Cache" - if not just for "MyHeritage" alone (even if I do not want too)!?
Any thoughts.

joe martel said: It still works for me. It sounds like an issue with your browser environment.
Does it fail for you on different PIDs? If it fails for multiple PIDs then it is probably your browser environment.
What browsers does it fail on?
I didn't say this had anything to do with quarantine. And this is not related the recent Source detach issue. Totally different call path and destination page.
The work-around is to do a Create Source from the Person page. I know it's not as quick, but it does exactly the same thing.0 -

'G'Day', morning, again, from my 'neck of the woods', "Down Under".
When you said that ... "It sounds like an issue with your browser environment."
I first thought that that was odd; as, I have NOT "Changed" anything with the "Browser" ['Google' "Chrome"]; except, the "Zoom", which I do regularly.
In fact, the ONLY thing that I have done, of late, is to upgrade to the latest version "Version 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit)", which made no difference.
But ...
That said ...
I then decided to try to same with 'Mozilla' "FireFox"; and, ... 'lo and behold' ... it worked.
So ...
Now I am even more confused than ever ...
Are you using, 'Google' "Chrome" with "Windows 10"; or, something different?
And, if you are using something different, I wonder if any other User/Patron is having the same problem/issue as I, with 'Google' "Chrome" with "Windows 10"?
As I said previously ... Weirder and Weirder ...

joe martel said: Everytime your browser loads a page it changes its environment - cache, cookies...
So other browsers work, so its something with your chrome environment.
I asked if it was PID dependent or if it occurs with other PIDs. Can you check that out?
Otherwise it something with your Chrome runtime.0 -
Brett said: Joe
'No', NOT the/a particular PID, right across the board, for all PIDs.
So, does that mean that it is something to do with "Chrome" itself; but, NOT some "Setting"; as, I have NOT "Changed" any "Setting".
Whether I like it or not, should I "Clear" my "Cookies" and "Cache", to see if that is the cause?
Or, do you think that "Clearing" my "Cookies" and "Cache" will make no difference!?
I still consider that this all has something to do with the fact that we cannot post in the "FamilySearch" ("Get Satisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum with "Chrome"; as, it seemed to start at/about the same time - but, what do I know!
Unless, of course, other Users/Patrons are not having the same problem/issue.

NOW ...
'Google' "Chrome" is DEFINITELY 'buggered' with regard to attaching "Sources" from "MyHertiage.com" ...
And now ...
So is ...
'Mozilla' "Fire Fox" is ALSO 'buggered' with regard to attaching "Sources" from "MyHertiage.com" ...
Great, NOT ...
Brett
ps: As "Chrome" was being difficult, I turned to "FireFox", that did not last long ...

(and, Others)
FYI
That "Fix" that was recommended by "FamilySearch", for problem/issue of:
Problem/Issue. UNABLE to post in "FamilySearch" ("Get Satisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum using Google Chrome/Windows 10, for a couple of Hours!
https://getsatisfaction.com/familysea...
ALSO seems to have addressed/fixed the problem/issue in relation to this post of mine.

To fix this you will need to go to the URL bar in Chrome and type chrome://flags
Then in the search bar type SameSite.
This will bring up three cookie items.
Set all three to disabled, and it will prompt you to restart Chrome.
After a restart, the feedback link will work. See Link for Image.

----------
"THANK YOU' ... 'Thank You' ... 'thank you' ...
Today, for the first time, since I had actioned that aforementioned "Fix", I went to attach a "Source" from "MyHeritage" to an individual/person in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch" ...
And, ... It Worked, as it should have, as it has done so previously ...
In "MyHeritage" the act to "Attach source to FamilySearch" opened a New 'Tab', which this time was, again, the "Create and Attach Source" to an individual/person appeared, rather than the recent, "Save Source to FamilySearch Source Box" appearing.
Again, "THANK YOU' ... 'Thank You' ... 'thank you' ...
Brett
ps: I had an (uneducated) feeling that the two (x2) problems/issues were 'intertwined' ...
