Heidi Kuosmanen said: In Familysearch Wiki List of all Localities under Finland there is an extra county which does not definitely belong to Finland. Into the Finland Counties list has been added a place called Dajabon. When you click it you get the the page Dajabon, Dominican Republic Genealogy!
I know how to edit articles, but this I cannot change.

David Wynn said: I wonder if there's a much larger bug. I tried to indicate a couple people were from "Italy" last night. Italy is not currently a known country. In the geography registry, the country of "Italy" is known as "Hover, Vejle, Denmark".0

Adrian Bruce said: For what it's worth, I've just checked the list of counties on https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/... and I don't see Dajabon. (Windows 10, Firefox 79)
I also managed to set up a record with an event place of Italy - though I did cancel it before committing to the database as it was just a test.
It's almost like stuff is getting cross-threaded - I had a mother(?) appear in a profile the other day where none should exist. If it weren't for the fact that I'd taken a screen-shot of the profile for another reason entirely, I'd have dismissed it as a false memory on my part. So I'm not doubting David and Heidi at all.... (I wonder if that's why Heidi couldn't edit it - it looked like it was there - but it wasn't???)0 -
Adrian Bruce said: Oh - pleasant surprise - according to the Standards, Italy is a country that first existed in 1861. Which is correct - shame they can't do likewise for Germany....0
