New drop down menu option in Helper Resource is needed to clarify Research done vs DNA results.

With so many people doing DNA tests, they receive % for different countries. They can compare their test with a BYU app called Grandma's Pie (Pedigree pie) and that can tell them if they are running parallel DNA: research, but it can give them a hint if they took a wrong turn if DNA says Japanese...and their research ended up in Germany. Here's where you come in. They need to be able to see on the fan chart with a clear color path of change from America back to origins unknown....and it would look awesome on the wall, but your standardization ends at Continent rather than Country, therefore if they are from a varied path of Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Isle of Man, they will never see it, it will be just purple and the UK - If they have people in Southern Ireland, it might say the Republic of Ireland, but that's about it. We are just asking for a drop-down table which lets the data be shown without the Continent (United States, UK, Africa, etc.,). This fan chart would be a real boon to FS and would give people confidence that they were progressing. You would be heroes! Please vote for this change.

I wish the fan chart would show a more precise geographic place rather than the generic country. UK means nothing if your ancestors come from Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales and even the UK members would not say they are from the UK; they would be more precise in stating the country they are from.
This goes for the United States as well. Being from Massachusetts is not the same as being from Georgia or Illinois or Washington State.
I want to print a fan chart for my granddaughters and then have them color a map of the United States that corresponds to the states their ancestors came from so they can see and learn about the various groups, nationalities and cultures that enrich their lives.
As it stands now, I am going to print as plain in B&W that I can (and even that is not totally possible) a fan chart and have them color it in. But it would be so much better if the fan chart would print with the various colors and then they could color a corresponding map so they can see their ancestry makeup.
