Marriage not shown on first screen of merge process

M Livingston said: The new merge screen - the marriage of a couple would be better shown on the first screen and not held back until the next screen ie after you have decided to proceed with the merge. I have found several cases where the only information about a husband and wife is their marriage date, but because this is not shown on the first screen, I have decided not to proceed with the merge. I am wary of this now but I don't know how many duplicates I have allowed to continue. Hope this is helpful.

    In this case (and others, I guess) you have highlighted the need to keep evaluating the facts right through the process. One can still mark as "Not A Match" on the 2nd and 3rd pages, of course. However, you do have a point regarding showing more detail of the possible duplicate (including marriage) on the 1st page.

    The marriage event, which confirms these two are definitely not a match, is shown well down the screen, on the 2nd page of the process:
