Indexing hometown?

Frédéric Szymañski said: Hi everybody,
I think allowing users to participate indexing their hometown can have benefits :
- Users will be more familiar with the names and will find out more easily when it's difficult to decipher.
- Indexing your own town and the neighbouring towns can be more motivative and will probably involve more users.

This idea can be extended to the birth towns of a user's ancestry.

What are your thoughts on this?

    A van Helsdingen said: FS needs the permission of the record owner to index any record. Being able to index any film an Indexer chooses is not possible. But if you want to suggest certain records for a future Indexing Project, FS Staff do read this and they might be able to prioritize those records.
