I would index more, if I could index images that I am more invested in. How do I get someone to put it into the program so I can start indexing it.
I'd like these 143 images of this book set up to be indexed:
Czech Republic, Church Books, 1552-1981 Catholic Pardubice Horní Roveň Baptisms (Křty) 1791-1890 (v. 4380)-Horní Roveň

The owners/custodians of the records must give permission, laws must be obeyed, and partnerships between FS and other companies and organisations adhered to. Custodians may have financial or religious reasons for refusing permission, films with recent records mixed with older records cannot be published or indexed due to privacy laws, and FS may not be allowed to index or publish records that its partners already have published themselves.
These reasons above make it very difficult to index one film at a time. It only becomes worthwhile when many films, often all with the same owner, are organised into an Indexing Project.
I made my own website (which costs nothing at WordPress) with some indexes/transcriptions I made of church records from several towns in a particular region of the Netherlands (https://sallandsdtb.wordpress.com/) While none of the reasons I mentioned above were really relevant, I could see that neither the archive, FS, or anyone else was going to index them any time soon (most of the records remain unindexed even several years later). Because I have ancestors from those towns, this was also useful for my own research.
*: I acknowledge that recently my site has branched (rather unsuccessfully) into commercial services. The focus remains on freely available transcripts, so I hope my inclusion of the link will not be considered a breach of the code of conduct.0
