Include titles in the find by name search.

From your description, I'm not sure you are using the correct search feature.
There are several search features in FamilySearch: Find -- find a person in FamilySearch FamilyTree, Search Records -- searches the indexes for the historical records (those that are not indexed are not searchable (at this time) for the person you are looking for.
However, I could be missing something, so if you will, please provide us with the name you are searching for and any dates you have with respect to that person. Provide us with a title, if the person has one, and/or other information on how you are performing your search.0
