ordinance reservation bug

I then went to Helen McNicoll's temple ordinance tab and reserved the sealing. As soon as I reserved it the screen updated and showed that the sealing was performed in 1935, and therefore not available to reserve:
However, the ordinance still shows as reserved by me and available for me to perform in both my temple page, and on John Campbell's ordinance tab.
Super buggy...
Familysearch has been pretty rock solid in my experiences up until about a month ago. But anymore, not so much.

Jeff_Luke said: OK. Now after waiting a while and refreshing Helen's page, it now shows the sealing as reserved by me.
BUT, it seems possible that this ordinance was performed in 1935. Or at least familysearch thought so for a few minutes...
I was pretty surprised to see an incomplete ordinance in this line, my guess is that it really was done in 1935.
I don't see evidence of merges or other events recently for either Helen or John.0 -

I see on the other threads there is discussion about merges possibly playing a role in the ordinance completion being 'lost'.
In my example there were no merges. The ordinance completion appears to have disappeared with no obvious change to the person.0 -
Jeff_Luke said: A plea to the familysearch team:
If this is a known issue, PLEASE put some notification on the familysearch page that describes the problem and let us know that it is a known issue and being addressed.
I wasted a lot of time both by being misled about ordinances being available, and then again by getting a bunch of screen shots and logging this issue.
I thought it was an important issue so I took the time to log it here, only to find out that my effort was unnecessary.
Since the notification that originally led to me wasting time is on the familysearch landing page under 'recommended tasks' there will be thousands of other people who will waste their time reserving ordinances that are complete.0 -
