New Mexico, Catholic Church Records, 1701-1956 Bernalillo, Albuquerque San Felipe Catholic Church Marriage register Book No. 2, 1726-1776 , BUT !! the original catalog film 16643 has 380 images. . Why not Continue with the Same Image Numbers,,for the new groupings. so if Book 5 in film 16643 started on image 155 then start the new group with that image number. so they all line up. and no one will have to go back on all their work and Re Number the source citing of the image they have from here. I notice if i post a link it goes to the new one.even if i copied the link from the whole film area. so my links won't even line up with the image no.'s I have now. I hope this can be fixed. Because I really do like the New Information on the top.

Juli said: Yup: if you want the other numbering, just click the little down arrow and select the other "trail".0

ohnocrissyee said: so is it a user turn on turn off type thing.? I have been using familysearch for years,but I have just started to use the catalog films in 2017 , and it just started showing up that way for me..did i unknowingly click something to give that view of them?..0

Juli said: Refreshing the page can sometimes switch to the other numbering. It happens infrequently enough that I haven't figured out a pattern.
The New Mexico, Catholic Church Records collection start page (https://www.familysearch.org/search/c...) has a date of Feb. 4th on it, so it's possible that FS only just now added the waypoints for this collection, and that's why you haven't seen them before. What other FS records have you worked with?0 -
ohnocrissyee said: Mostly New Mexico, church records baptism,marriages deaths, i don't know how to explain this, here is a link of some records I had been working in. I had attached the images to the person, I hunted for them from the link in the Record part. that took me to the filmed images. so here is a link to the person's sources if you click the image i attached it will do the way point view, if you click the link from the record information one it will take you to the film view ,I hope that makes sense to you.. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/per...0

Juli said: All of the links go to the waypointed view/numbering for me ("New Mexico, Catholic Church Records, 1701-1956 > Bernalillo, Albuquerque > San Felipe Catholic Church > Marriage register Book No. 2, 1726-1776"), and that's what's in the auto-citations in Juan Miguel's sources list, too, but it doesn't actually matter: as long as you have a complete citation, either "method of address" will get you to the same page.
Choosing an example at random, the following all point to the same image on the same film:
* https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/619...
* New Mexico, Catholic Church Records, 1701-1956 - Bernalillo, Albuquerque - San Felipe Catholic Church - Marriage register Book No. 3, 1776-1818 - Image 10 of 86
* Film # 007548702 - Image 76 of 380
* https://www.familysearch.org/search/f...
It's analogous to "head north on Main, turn left on Elm, and we're the second house on the right" versus "123 Elm St".0 -
