Attaching letters to numbers with leaving numbers as they are accept new letters added

James E Ford said: on the first field of marriage records is "Certificate Number" that many times starts with letter for a book Identification. many indexer leave this out and as a reviewer I would like these Letters applicable to these many different numbers without needing to go to each one and correcting each one, but able to attach the letter at the beginning of each number though out the 40 to 42 lines of couple names. two examples are on #s MS92-2L9, that I have finished and MS92-L75, that by now I am now working on.
