Wayland said: Now that we have transitioned to the new hours of operations, I am glad to see them posted on the contact us page. However, it would be even better to included the time zone so people really know the hours. Not sure you need to list each day separating since the hours are the same except on Sunday but it is okay.

Also, if I google "familysearch support hours of operation" I still get the old schedule albeit without time zones.

So please add the time zone for the listed times. Most of the world doesn't revolve around the mountain time zone.

    'G'Day' from "Down Under"

'Yes' ... good question ... is that my local time or "Salt Lake City" (ie. Mountain) time!?

    So ...

No longer 24/7 'Support' by "FamilySearch" 'Support' Missionaries around the World.

    'G'Day' from "Down Under", again.

    Interesting ...

I just checked out the "Hours of Operations" using my "Non-Member" Account (for "Testing" purposes), where the Country is the "United States of America" ...

    As I said ...

    Interesting ...

Thanks, I am in the mountain time zone. I changed my time zone to eastern US and sure enough, it shows the hours of operation in local time. That is great. Now they just need to label it as local time so there is no confusion.

The "Hours of Operation", for my locale (ie. Australia), are:

    Sunday . .. Closed
    Monday ... 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Tuesday ... 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Wednesday ... 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Thursday ... 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Friday ... 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Saturday ... 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

And, the telephone number, for my locale (ie. Australia), for "Call Us", being the "Family History Customer Service", is 1800-953-143.

As per the image above of a Month ago.

It is well after 10:00 am on Monday; and, yet, all I get is a recorded message that says ... "Thank You for calling "FamilySearch" 'Support', we are currently CLOSED"!!!???

    So ...
    That said ...

What are the ACTUAL or REAL "Hours of Operation", for my locale; if NOT, those as posted in "FamilySearch"?

    'Thank You' in advance.

Juli said: 1-800-anything is a U.S. (toll-free) number, so its hours of operation are very likely according to Utah's time zone. Dunno why they don't SAY so, of course.

That 1800-953-143 number is from calling from WITHIN our Country.

It DOES NOT require the International dialing access code as a Prefix.

As far as 'Wayland' and I can ascertain, the 'Hours of Operation' displayed are for a User's/Patron's OWN locale.

To make matters worse, a couple of Hours later I tried again; and, this time I got through to the "System", the problem/issue was that an automated voice message advised that all operators were busy and I would be answered in due course.

That was fine, I kept on the line, intermittently kept hearing the automated message about all operators were busy and I would be answered in due course; and, that I could just leave my number and would be called back in due course.

That was also fine; but, I continued to stay on the line; then, 'lo and behold' after 1⁄2 an Hour (30 Minutes) into the call, (... wait for it ...) an automated message advised I should leave my number after the tone; and, THEN after the tone, the call PROMPTLY ended ... that's all folks ... what great customer service ... NOT!
