You cannot search exactly, by author, UNLESS you want to scroll through a bunch of pre-selected choices in what appears RANDOM order. Most individuals do not have ALL DAY to find one periodical.. This way poorly designed and though out change.

I have cross referenced your comments on a larger topic about the FamilySearch Digital Library which had earlier said there was a Team working on changes.
