It appears that the contract between FS and the owner of the records has expired or been revoked, meaning that FS can no longer publish these records.

But according to that discussion, the records are available on another site.

You could trying contacting the record owner, who appears to be Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and asking what is going on.

Glenn P said: Also, Library and Archives Canada has its own website with an extensive section for the Census records from 1825 (pre-Confederation) through to 1926.

    https://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/census/...

While it appears that currently in FamilySearch only the indexes (indices) are available for some of the Canadian Census records, these indexes along with the LAC site and the Canadian Census records available on Ancestry.com provide a way to research these records for individuals and families.
For Canadian family history research the LAC website in its entirety is one of those essential go-to websites.
