You can put a source in "Memories" and then attach the same source to all the people and ancestors in the stories or documents or photographs.
Not sure that this is what you are talking about, but the following shows I added a biography and then added all the different people who were talked about in the biography.

My sources are links from church records and I’ve been adding them as new source. Usually these records mention the name of the person and parents (and grandparents sometimes) and godparents.
I wonder how to link the web address to several people.0 -

BeatrizM said: Jordi, you mean to save the link to the Source box and from there attach it to every person? I will try that, thank you!0

Jordi Kloosterboer said: Yep, but I would also add notes about it in the notes section. Also, if the link is from familysearch (an image that has not been indexed), you can add the source to several people directly from the top right of the image.0

Don M Thomas said: Sorry BeatrizM, can't help you there. Where are Tom Huber, Gordon Collett, gasmodels, Jeff Wiseman, Paul Wrightson, Adrian Bruce, A van Helsdingen and Juli when you need them?
Thanks Jordi Kloosterboer. I almost mentioned the Source Box but did not know for sure.0 -

gasmodels said: Jordi's suggestion to add the source to the source box is the best option and easiest I know of. When to are on the individual page go to the source page for the person and click add source -- one of the options is from the source box if you choose that option you can easily the source from the source box. Be careful about trying to edit the source as it will change for everyone it is attached to.0

To the issue at hand, my thought is that if an image can be captured for a Church Record, I would upload that as a memory in your Gallery, and then tag each person mentioned in the record. In addition to becoming part of that person's memories, you can also set up the document as a source and attach it to each person, either via your source box, or independently. (I think it will work with sources from memories, but I'm not sure, since I haven't put a memory source into my source box. But I have created sources and that works well.
Once a source is in the source box, then from the person's source page, you can attach a source from the source box. I just don't know if that will work with sources that use a memory -- I suspect the memory has to be part of the person's memories.0
