WARNING 'Messages'
Could we please (hurry up and) have WARNING 'Messages' appear when we attempt to "Add" a, Spouse; and/or, Child, when in the "Other Information" Section there are "Custom Fact(s)" of, "No Couple Relationship"; and/or, "No Children", against individuals/persons that have such "Custom Fact(s)" - like the "Mobile" Application version.
Such WARNING 'Messages' should NOT be 'set' in 'Concrete', easily, either, 'dismissed' or 'overwritten' (ie. move to the next step, if one desires); but, at least, such WARNING 'Messages' will give Users/Patrons a 'Chance' to stop (all-bet-it briefly) and consider the circumstances; before, proceeding.
WITHOUT such WARNING 'Messages', such "Custom Fact(s)" of, "No Couple Relationship"; and/or, "No Children", in the "Other Information" Section, are (I am sad to say) almost utterly useless. Many Users/Patrons do not look or see IMPORTANT information, such WARNING 'Messages' are sort of a 'backstop', not perfect; but, better than nothing at all.
'Thank You' in advance.
Brett
ps: Such WARNING 'Messages' are NOT (yet) in the "Beta" ("Test") Environment either- I just "Tested", again.

I think the problem exists in other areas of Family Tree. Take the record hints situation (that I am always raving on about!). Say I have completed all the vitals on the person page already - no warning appears against the source / possible dupe to say I am being offered a totally different set of information to that already inputted.
I think the only example I can think of involving a warning that appears immediately before you prepare to take an action is the one where you are looking at a potential merge. I often get a message to say (something like): "This has already been dismissed as Not A Match".
In general, warnings do seem to be lacking in some areas. However, red exclamation marks DO appear when there seems no need: like when a couple had two children named William and only a burial (instead of a death) input has been made for their first child of that name. Also, a warning appears on Landscape view (about a possible data problem) when first cousins marry.
Like individual users, I guess the developers have their ideas about when and when not a warning sign should appear. Unfortunately, not only is there no consensus over this matter, but neither - throughout the program - is there any real consistency.0 -

Such WARNING 'Messages' appear in the "Mobile" Application; and, has done since the implementation of those "Custom Fact(s)" of, "No Couple Relationship"; and/or, "No Children" in the "Other Information' Section in the "Mobile" Application - where it appeared FIRST.
I would have though that enough time has past, that having such in the "Web" version, would have been implemented by now.
