Formatting improvements on new Temple Reservations page

However, with the new format there are some simple formatting changes that would make it a bit easier to use, especially with a small screen or lower resolution monitor.
1) the column 'person' is very narrow. The names of people are often cut off. Perhaps some space could be taken from other parts of the page to make more room for names, as suggested below.
2) there is a lot of screen real estate consumed by the side window on the left hand side of page. The information contained there seems almost unnecessary or could be moved. The 'shared' link could be made part of the filter and a link to the reservation policy could be moved somewhere else. By the time someone gets to this page, they have already made the reservation anyway. This would give more space for 'Person' column.
3) there is a lot of unused space to the left and right of 'Date' column. That space could be taken away and given to the 'Person' column so that names don't get cut off.
4) when scrolling, the information in the tab on the left of screen and the information on the 'filter' tab scrolls off the screen. That info should be 'frozen' so it can always be viewed, as well as having access to close that side window. When it scrolls off the screen it can't be closed without scrolling all the way back up, and you can't see what you're filtering anymore.
Thanks for looking into these suggestions.

Any insight into the purpose of changing the 'temple reservations' page?
I find it much harder to work with as do many others as can be seen by the comments here: https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/...
Perhaps there is some reasoning for the changes to the temple reservations that would help us understand the purpose and see the value. With no explanation it seems like change for the sake of change and it's causing a lot of frustration.0 -
Linda Barney said: Perhaps the large space between the ordinance list and the reservation date could be used to split the ordinance list into printed and not printed? Having them both the same color makes it really difficult to scan the column. That's the one big problem with going to only four colors - what used to be a simple scan of colored boxes to gather information has become reading text (printed/not printed) or clicking several times (submitted to the temple already). This is a step backwards. I definitely miss the old reservation screen.0
