Recent Changes to Colour Coding for Ordinance Work

I feel that these changes will cause problems when the temples reopen for usual service. The old colours that were used were easy to identify the different stages of ordinance work (eg. Red = on shared system, Brown = printed by a temple somewhere in the world and work in progress, white = work not needed to be done or not available to be done yet as needs more information, Light Green = work ready to be done, Light Grey = work completed, Dark Green = Work Printed off) As soon as you saw the colour you knew exactly what stage the person ordinance was at whereas now you have to look closely at the very small writing next to the ordinance box. If like myself your eyesight is limited this has made it difficult to see plus the colour now used is Navy Blue with this alongside Dark Grey that has also made it very difficult to identify the difference. Plus using Bright Orange instead of White to show an ordinance is missing is very painful on the eyes to constantly be looking at such a bright colour. To be using one colour for everything (eg. Navy Blue = for ordinances that have been printed, put on shared system and those not yet printed) does not seem to make sense as this will cause confusion. I would like to make the suggestion to change the colours back to how they were before the change with the exception of Dark Green being used for printed cards it would be nice to have a different colour as Light and Dark Green can also be confusing (Dark = Printed, Light = Not Printed) also to take away the Dark Grey colour for Infants that have died as looking at the ordinance work it is very hard to tell that they are babies with all the ordinances boxes being one colour instead of how they used to be just the SP box being coloured. I hope you will consider the points I have made here and that you will agree that reducing the number of colours really has not helped the system.

I am another user.
Orange simply means that there is something that prevents this ordinance from becoming available. It could be a number of different things. See In Family Tree, what does "Not available" mean? at https://www.familysearch.org/help/hel... for some of the reasons.
Dark Gray represents completed individual ordinances. It does not take the sealing to spouse (SS) into consideration.
The blue icon was originally far too close to the blue hint icon. So it was darkened. You are the second person to mention that the dark blue is too close to the Dark Gray completed icon. I agree that it is a problem, just like being too close to the blue hint icon was a problem. FamilySearch should brighten the color to someplace between the two problem colors.
This icon represents any ordinance that is "in process", including that it has been reserved and not shared by another person. There is a two year (sliding) period in which ordinances that have been reserved should be done. If no ordinances have been completed in that two year period, the user is notified shortly before the expiration date. The expiration date is extended by a year each time an ordinance is completed.
With regard to the green icon, Jim Greene, a FamilySearch representative wroteThe green temple icon has always meant that ordinances are available to be completed. It doesn't matter if the ordinance has been reserved or not or shared or not. It is now available. Ordinances Ready was the first feature of the new rewrite of the temple system within FamilySearch that was released. It always treated the available ordinances as green, regardless of whether they were shared or on the user's reserved list, or available to be reserved.
He also wroteWe are no longer in a position where names submitted to the temple is more important than to have the ordinances performed. Therefore, while not changing the meaning we are changing the emphasis of the green temple. We need to think of it as "This ordinance is available for temple work to be performed." It does not mean "This ordinance is ready to be requested/reserved or submitted/shared with the temple."
