Collaboration and Timeline Tabs missing from Mobile App.

A growing number of users are using their smartphone far more often than the desktop computer. I tend to put a lot of important research information in the "Notes" section, so I would really appreciate having these visible in the next version of the software.
If there actually is a way to view notes and discussions in the app, please enlighten me. I cannot find it anywhere.

refers to a collaborate section in the mobile app but I do not see it anywhere. Maybe this is coming in the future0 -

The mobile apps are not laid out like browser version. To use the browser version on a mobile device, open your mobile device’s browser and use it. Keep in mind the only browsers that are supported are Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.0 -
Mary said: I have noticed lately that the Chrome browser on my Android phone forces links to open in the app if the app is installed. I have not been able to figure out how to bypass this and open Family Tree links in the browser instead.
I have noticed that the notes are included in the "details" tab on the app, you have to scroll down to find them.
Discussions, however, are still notably missing from the app. So I cannot access the discussions attached to any ancestor on my phone. This is extremely unfortunate, as a growing number of users are accessing FamilySearch only from their mobile devices.
What is the point of using the discussion feature if many users aren't even able to view the discussions? Until this is fixed, I am only using Notes, not Discussions.0 -

If/when you get a choice on you Mobile Phone, for which "Browser" to use, choose, "FireFox" (I like next after "Chrome"), not "Chrome".
That is the only way that I have got over the problem/issue with my Android Mobile Phone switching automatically to the "Mobile" Application, rather than staying with a "Browser".

David Newton said: There is a way in the system settings of Android. It is to do with the URL patterns the system uses to determine when the launch an app.
To me this kind of unannounced change in the mobile application is precisely the sort of thing that causes frustration and lack of civility in responses. There was no announcement that the change was made. There are plenty of use cases when either mobile or desktop version of the web site may be needed to be accessed from a phone. It is immensely difficult to track down the system setting to actually reverse the change. There is no setting in the app to turn it on and off.
This encapsulates bad development practice in a nutshell.0 -

Firstly, "Welcome" to this "FamilySearch" ( "GetStaisfaction" ) 'Feedback' Forum.
Secondly, "Official 'FamilySearch' Representatives", do monitor; and, sometimes, participate in, this Forum.
Thirdly, I am just another User/Patron, just like yourself (and, happen to be a Member of the Church).
Many Users/Patrons who regularly participate in this Forum who have a great deal of knowledge and experience with "FamilySearch", like to assist/help other Users/Patrons like yourself.
Finally, do not get me wrong, I know that you are trying to be "Helpful"; and, we all try to be helpful; but, this post of your's is actually is more along the lines of "Selling or promotion of (Commercial) products or services".
The Church has its OWN Team Working on the "Mobile" Application.
They are most likely working on adding the, "Collaboration"; and, "Time-Line", 'Tabs' to the "Mobile" Application, it all just takes 'Time'; and 'some time' at that.
We are told that 'Patience' is a virtue - a virtue that, sadly, like many, I am lacking.
