FYI
Just for information
"User Messaging" of "FamilySearch"
A NEW "Category" has been ADDED.
A new category of, "Tree", has recently appeared.
I wonder if this NEW "Category" appeared in the last Weekly up-date/release; or, 'In-Line'.
I do not recall seeing that new "Tree" category prior to today.
Now, there are Six (x6) "Categories":
- Conversations
- Discoveries
- General ... [ formerly, "System" ]
- Tree
- Indexing
- Temple ... [ for Members of the Church ]
Again, possibly still a 'work in progress'.
It will be interesting to see what this NEW "Tree" Category is all about.
Just thought that you may be interested.

Well ...
The "Knowledge Article" of:
What is FamilySearch Messaging? (348274)
https://www.familysearch.org/help/art...
is NO help!?
All you get now is ... ! Article not found.
It DOES NOT even show up in the "Help Centre" any longer.
All I could find was the "Knowledge Article" of:
Where do I find my messages? (390331)
https://www.familysearch.org/help/sal...
which has
How do I delete messages on FamilySearch.org? (408577)
https://www.familysearch.org/help/sal...
There is NO reference (not yet anyway) to the new category of, "Tree".

All kidding aside, there have been several reports of Knowledge Article pages with no content. It'll like not be addressed until after the holidays.0 -

Tom Huber said: I'm going to speculate -- the missing article the Brett Notes might have been pulled in order to add the definition for the Tree tab -- that's my guess.
The article, Where do I find my messages? https://www.familysearch.org/help/sal... is now incomplete, since it does not talk about the Tree (tab) -or- for that matter, the Temple (tab) that members see. (Of course, that is found in a different article, but from what I can see, there is no coverage for "Tree" and to be honest, I cannot envision any type of message that might be sent to a user.)0 -

Maybe.
But, 'Nah', if I recall, I think that that "Knowledge Article" of "What is FamilySearch Messaging?" [ 348274 ] ( https://www.familysearch.org/help/art... ) has been AWOL for some time now.
I do not think that they can keep up with the "Changes" to "User Messaging" of "FamilySearch", there has been so many of late.
I suggest that that New "Tree" Category is possibly still a "Work In Progress".
Hopefully, someone from "FamilySearch" might 'jump in' and enlighten us.
