There is no mention of any online records.

A special category would be British persons overseas in Syria and Lebanon, and then you would be looking at sources for British Overseas records

Apologies for my delayed response, as you will know, the 'East Coast' (around 'my neck of the woods') just experienced a brief but nasty 'Hail Storm' yesterday, including trees/branches down bringing down power lines, our place is still without.

The Patron is quite an experienced User/Patron, I believe they have tried "FamilySearch" 'WiKi' ...

But, just in case, it is worth a 'shot', I will have the Patron take a look (if they have not).
