Larry Nerge said: Please provide a way so that living profile records will automatically rollover to deceased when the person exceeds 110 years of age. This way when a person dies and it is never reported, we know that the person's profile will eventually become visible to the world at some point in the future.

The primary one I can think of is incorrect data on the person, say the birth/christen date might be in error : 1920 vs 1902 where the user entered the wrong info either on the person or in indexed records. An automated process would automatically make the person deceased even though they may still be alive. So maybe there needs to be some other checks, like looking at their relatives, marriages, and sources to cross-correlate to make a better analysis of if they are really deceased.

Often I have some living in just to keep the relationships clear, but I have not done any real research on them and they have only minimal information and of no real value to FS. It would only create unnecessary duplicates if they were to be added after 110 yrs from their birth. Many may never be merged since they would have little data to compare to determine if they are indeed duplicates. I would like to see the default be don't upload to FS unless I check a box to upload after age reaches 110 yrs.

Tom Huber said: I suspect that you are well aware of the Church policies regarding the 110 year rule. If you know there are no any living close relatives, which would include siblings of the deceased children, you can follow the instructions in the article, https://www.familysearch.org/help/sal... and its related articles on making such a request.
