David W. Smith said: We can currently share temple ordinance reservations with the temple system. It would be nice to be able to share/transfer the reservation to another FS user. For example, if I reserve a name, but then later my sister wants to do it, instead of me unreserving the name and her reserving the name, I would like to simply transfer the reservation to her so she can print out the FOR.

Heather McPhie said: I agree that would be a great feature. In the meantime, it is recommended that you go ahead and share all the ordinances with the friend/family member, and then once the baptisms only are completed, just have them share the ordinances back to you.

Kevin Thomas Lauder said: it is just as easy to do it the way I have in the past......I just save the FOR as a PDF file and email to my family.....but I only send them what they want to do and they dont have to send me anything back.......I hope family search will make the changes that I suggest.......thanks for your comment though

Ron Tanner said: I agree. This is just the first phase of a multi-phase project. The next round, in the future, will allow you to share just specific ordinances.

Nolan Bateman said: New "Share the love with your family" feature just released in the last week, or so.

Location is in "Messages" and "Discoveries" tab.

I received requests from others to do temple work for 4 records. It is great to see the relationship of the person requesting ordinance work, and the record of the person that needs the ordinance work done. In my case they are close family compared to my long distance relationship.

The only problem is most of the time the system says there is a error when I try to share, and it will not complete the task. I was able to do 1 of the 4.

This system only applies to ordinances that I shared with temple, and the temple has not printed a card yet. Other wise they contact me in message system.
