You will notice similar behaviour when making a left click on the options at the top of this page. A left click on Family Tree, Search, Memories, etc. does not take you anywhere - you need to right click on an item in the sub-menu.
Some users advise this method puts things in line with "standard practice" for most other websites. I still can't get used to doing this way, though, and would be pleased if it reverted to the "old way".0 -

This is one case where:
FamilySearch! What were the programmers thinking? A link that is an image should never offer the option to open the icon image in its own tab!

When I click on the FamilySearch Logo, I do not get an "Open image in its own tab" option. It gives me the option to open the home page in its own tab.0
