Tom Huber said: Welcome to the community-powered feedback forum for FamilySearch. FamilySearch personnel read every discussion thread and may or may not respond as their time permits. We all share an active interest in using the resources of this site and as users, we have various levels of knowledge and experience and do our best to help each other with concerns, issues, and/or questions.

The home page is not reconfigurable. You can collapse certain areas, but not all of them. One of the ongoing complaints about the home page is the display of memories attached to a relative by others. We have requested (for a number of years) that the display be collapsible.

The only thing that happened is that at this point, we can select other options while those images load, but we cannot collapse the image area so it does not load.

The same holds true for displaying only the images added by others to my direct ancestors.

Good suggestion, though. Hopefully this will remind FamilySearch that the home page needs more than a patch or two to satisfy our desires.
