    Interesting

But, am I missing something ...

Not so much with the "Irene M TROUT", the Wife ...

    But ...

Although I did note it from that "Image"; and, later checking.

Her Spouse/Husband, "Herman F. PAUL" was BORN after their "Marriage".

It indicates that he has Born in 2004 and Died in 2008; yet, Married in 1954.

I think that "Data Problem" REALLY relates to him ("Herman F. PAUL"); and, that she ("Irene M TROUT") is what you might call, collateral damage.

That "Data Problem" for "Irene M TROUT" should be something like "Spouse/Husband, Born AFTER Marriage".

    That would make better sense.

At least, "Herman F. PAUL" has the RIGHT "Data Problems".

Regardless, that "Data Problem" 'Message' for "Irene M TROUT" needs correcting addressing/fixing by "FamilySearch"

Jordi Kloosterboer said: Yeah fixing the problem for the husband fixes it for the wife. I agree the wording needs to be different for the wife, but it is a data problem with her because she is attached to the marriage with the husband who is born after the marriage.

Jeff Wiseman said: Yea, the data problem is specifically labeled for Irene even though the problem is NOT with Irene. Essentially the Research "Help" is stating that "Irene M. Troudt was born after she was married" which is totally wrong.

Yes, there is a problem, but it is NOT where the data error is indicating it is!

I have since corrected the improper birth date so the data issue has been corrected, but the system generating data errors in a misleading fashion is still active

Thanks for letting us know. I've reported it to the proper folks. Hopefully the fix won't take long.

I know that we 'Raz' you Programmers/Engineers a lot.
It is nice to see that you still have a 'sense of humour'.

Ron Tanner said: Brett, I see you fixed the data problem by entering a created birth date of Herman.

Jeff Wiseman said: Ron, yes I fixed the data problem. The issue was that the system had incorrectly marked Irene with the data problem.

If I change Herman's birth date back to what it was, a data problem flag is put onto Irene.
