IDEA: Have spouse's names show up when looking at individuals in families

I often have obituaries or family reunions, or even newspapers where I see references similar to "Mrs. [insert man's name] Smith", and I need to open every female's tab and then scroll down to see their husband's name.
I would LOVE to be able to select the person's name, and where is also shows their birth or death years, it would include their husband's name.
Having this info would help minimize the need to open a new tab and load all the info there before being able to see the same info.
I'll mock this up to better show what I mean. The highlighted area is the suggested update to the user interface.

Paul said: My only criticism of this idea would be the likely difficulty in displaying more than one spouse. Several of my relatives were married three or four times!0

Justin Masters said: I just mocked up a person with one spouse. I could have easily added more.
This was intended to show intent.
I would hope that it added all spouses and their basic info.0 -

Justin Masters said: LOL. That's okay. Thanks for the alternative.
I find it a bit tedious for what I'm trying to accomplish and for people with one screen having to jump back and forth on tabs would get hard. I firmly believe that the improvement I'm proposing will have a similar productivity gain as that now found in the vitals section for a person.
Remember a few months back where opening a vital field did NOT have the sources/info tagged to that field visible right there? You had to go out and look at each source for what info they had, before going back into the vital field to update it.
Reading back over this... it makes it sound like I'm rather pompous in making that claim, but I have felt the pain over and over on processing newspaper clippings where Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith attended a family reunion (and it's obvious they're related), or a daughter is listed as Mrs. Joe Smith in an obituary or family reunion article.
Thank you for an alternative to consider! I do hope they make that improvement.0 -
Justin Masters said: Jeff, I ran into a situation where I was struggling trying to find spouses, and tried your method, and it worked pretty well!
Thanks!
Just had to remind myself to reference the parent to catch the siblings and their spouses. (since I was working amongst the brothers and sisters.)0
