I continuously do record search just trying to see if there is any new source not attached to a particular person included in my watch list in order to keep gathering data to incorporate more people on my family tree. Another improvement on the search query, that could be of great help to increase the productivity of the work of source attachment is to add a filter (restrict condition) to filter out records NOT ATTACHED to anyone.. I hope I have explained correctly my proposal. Your help in considering both suggestions will be highly appreciated. Regards, Oscar Lang-Diaz

Living persons are always going to be a problem due to the most stringent privacy laws in effect.
The complexity of what you are asking may be its downfall. A straight list of watched persons with source hints is what should be possible and from that standpoint, it is a great idea. It could be related to the watch list, the same way that the people who have changed list works.0 -
Oscar Lang said: Thanks Tom, for looking into the suggestion. I agree with you regarding living people restrictions, but I am referring to living people that are only on my own profile . The list you mention for new sources available will work fine, for sure will serve the same objective. What about the restrain on the search records query to filter out records not attached to any person when doing record search? Would this be possible too? Thanks in advance, Oscar0

Tom Huber said: The current issue with Living people on the web version is that it is currently not searchable, but we've been told that this feature is coming some time during the year -- those announcements are not always met, mostly due to unforeseen circumstances in the code.
The second problem is that only a few sources actually contain information about recent events. In some instances, there is a 100-year delay for releasing birth records, and a 50-year delay in releasing marriage records. Even the U.S. Social Security Administration Death Index has a 3-year delay.
None of this is encouraging, but the same code that we could use with people on our watch list should be able to be applied to people who are in our private space.
Hopefully, FamilySearch will consider this request.0
