Change log needs to include all changes again

KC Chambers said: Please have the change log include all events again including the assigning of parents and spouse. Please do not make me go to 3 different screens anymore to be able to compare when parents were assigned to when a spouse was defined. I need all this info on one screen when a marriage record listing a particular spouse has parents different from the ones currently attached. I need to know who to create new and who should keep the ordinances that have been done. Sincerely, Kathy Chambers

The new change log shows all the changes that the old change log showed as long as you do not have any filters set.
Open the change log from the details page of the person's profile. Do not open the log from an edit screen, it is intended to open the log with a filter already set.
Next, click on Filters (one screen) and click on filters in the upper left corner of the change log area.
Make sure All Changes is highlighted. This will display all the log entries.0 -
Tom Huber said: Right now, there are some glitches in the new change log and so you may have to refresh your screen if things do not look correct. As I was preparing this response, the system reverted just once to the original log and after refreshing the log, it displayed the new user interface screen for the change log.0

Gordon Collett said: All the information is still present in all the change logs I've examined.. What you might be finding disconcerting, is that some of the term have changed.
If a child has no parental relationships then:
1) Mother Added is now Relationship Created.
2) Father Added is now Relationship Created.
If a child has existing parental relationships and one is added through putting on another parent or through a merge, then:
1) Mother Added is now Relationship Added.
2) Father Added is now Relationship Added.
In addition, Parent-Child Relationship Deleted is now Relationship Removed.
In all these entries, there is no way to tell just looking at them which parent-child relationship was added or deleted, whether it was to the father or the mother.
Do you have an example where the information you need seems to be missing that you can post the ID for here and precisely explain what is not there?0
