Temple ordnance cards show when printed. Why not add the expiration date along with when printed.
Some cards only have 90 days to get it done when reserved from the shared with temple list. Plus other time limits.
I have done ordinances I shared with the temple previously, and will print them when less than 30 days before they expire, sometimes.
When at the temple I will have a stack of them to do, and have no idea which one expires first unless I look at it before I go and write it on the card.
Sometimes I share the printed card with family, and forget to record which ones I give them. It would also be good for them to know how much time they have to get them done.
I also see a few at the temple with a stack of up to what looks like 3-4 inches thick of cards. I wonder if they can possibly be done in two years. They would be better helped than I.
Since you are about to update the Temple reserve webpage I hope you are going to include when expired dates. If not please add them.
Thanks
Nolan

It starts with two years from the point where the reservation was made and then switches to one year from the date the last vicarious ordinance was performed. For Ordinances Ready, it is a ninety day window and yes, it could be useful to print it on that card, but the card itself never expires (this is true of any printed ordinance card).
The current suggestion is to print the card just before you plan to attend the temple. Since the cards will not be returned to the patron anyway (it may be implemented at all temples once they open up again) the date becomes irrelevant, except if the card is never used.
The temple page for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has had the ability to display the expiration date for the reservation for close to a year, maybe even more.
The right-hand column allows you to sort the list by Expiration Date. You'll note that the expiration date is already shown on the list (it is not shown for temple-shared names, since those do not expire).
At the present time, there is a blue banner explaining that "FamilySearch is temporarily suspending all temple ordinance expiration dates until the temples reopen."0
