In the Relationship screen, alongside the vertical line running from each child to parent, add the number of sources tagged as parent-child relationships.

Several people have been clamoring for this same capability, although most folks run into it with couple relationship sources first (same situation).

There are many engineering and application reasons that this would be superior to having every single parent-child and couple relationship in the system have its very own source and notes list, not the least of which is that the current arrangement hides all kinds of information, requires a lot of jumping around, and behaves totally differently from how all other vitals do it.

Here's hoping that FS gives up the approach they have taken on this subject :-)
