Link to sources from Change Log

I do Danish research and watch a lot of people to keep them as clean as I can. It really helps me to be able to link into a source that has been added or removed from the history of changes.

Tom Huber said: Good point. There should be a link in the change log to the source. If the source was deleted, that should show up in the change log. Besides having a "V" next to entries that can be expanded (like a merge), I can see where a source would have a "V" to expand the source entry to include any source deleted entry, if applicable.0

Tom Huber said: The restore of a merge-deleted person is not done from the surviving person's change log. Open the partial profile from the merge-deleted person and use the Restore Person there.
I do not remember seeing the Restore person on the old change log. It has always been on the partial profile of the merge deleted profile.
On restoring event conclusions. the Restore is no longer displayed as a blue button (which stood out), but as blue text which does not stand out. The three words on the right side of the change log are CURRENT, RESTORE, and REFERENCE.
There is a current problem in that the See All Changes from the edit screen for an event or fact in Vitals, Other, and Couple Relationship windows, goes to a pedigree view, which is the result of a bug. If you open the Latest Changes and use Show All, then filter by entry type, you should be able to quickly determine the chronological order of the changes made to any event in Vitals.
There is a problem trying to use that method with Other information record types because the change log filter picks up all entries of the event or fact type, which has been a problem sine FamilySearch moved from the single view several years ago to the tabbed views that are currently being used.0
