However, for others it will be an ideal opportunity to merge every "possible duplicate" suggestion added by the current (very loose) algorithm and create a tremendous amount of work for people like me in undoing all their careless work!
Better to encourage people to make a check of the change logs to make sure everything is in order.
Assuming by "personal page locations" you mean those currently appearing as needing to be standardized, I'm afraid this is also something that has been brought about by computer programming, not user input, and for which I would not have enough hours in the day to put right, even on the pages of the IDs I am watching.
You are right to encourage people to carry out work in Family Tree during this time, but it's just the nature of the work we have to disagree on!0
