Some 3rd party software such as RootsMagic or Legacy might be a better option for you as those programs have multiple ways to sort people in your family tree.0

All three have similar features and for me, I find the ability to search and identify those who died in Illinois where the Family History Centers (facilities) can be used to obtain images of death certificates issued by Illinois and/or Cook County (Chicago).
For most people, the free version of all three of these programs will provide you with enough experience to decide which one you like the best.
Now, the good part. All three have the ability to download to a local database, your ancestral lines and their descendants, which then can be used in many different reports. Some reports require the full version, but it is not overly expensive. The treat is being able to test out all three before you decide which one you like the most.0
