For most people, the free version of all three of these programs will provide you with enough experience to decide which one you like the best.

Now, the good part. All three have the ability to download to a local database, your ancestral lines and their descendants, which then can be used in many different reports. Some reports require the full version, but it is not overly expensive. The treat is being able to test out all three before you decide which one you like the most.
