Stake split
Our stake was just split into 2 stakes. We will both share the FHC. Do we report this to someone in SL? I’m the FHC director but don’t live in the stake where the actual FHC is located. How can I have access to the tools for the other stake so that I can work with both stakes FH leaders, Bishops, and Stake presidency. Any suggestions for working with both stakes together?

@Cindy Blevins You'll probably get some other great input from a few people here that are also over a FHC shared by two stakes. I'm not, but I do know of one thing that you can do to get listed by both stakes. Have the stake you're NOT a member of add you as an "out of unit member" of the stake, and then they can select you from their own membership listings to call you as the "Stake Temple and Family History Consultant -- Family History Center" calling that stake as well as the one in which your membership records reside. It's all done through LCR (Leader and Clerk Resources). Here's a real life example of how it worked for us:
We had a senior missionary couple serving in a military branch here in Georgia which exclusively served only basic trainees and officer candidates, and a few other people at that installation for short term training. None of the military families actually stationed there were members of the military branch - their membership records were in one of the surrounding family wards. All of the trainees' records remained in their home wards during training. Therefore, we had attendances well over 100 most Sundays, yet only a dozen or so listed members of the branch. The same was true of the senior military couple - their membership records remained in their home ward out in Utah.
We wanted to call the Elder missionary as branch clerk, and the Sister missionary as Relief Society President since they were serving there, and both were highly suited for the two callings. So we got permission of the couple's home bishop and stake president to have them designated as "out of unit members" of our little branch, and then we were free to extend the callings to them since their membership also showed up on our membership roster even though their formal membership records were still out west. There is no reason I know of that this solution would not work very well for you - then BOTH stakes would have you as a "member" of their stake, but you'd simply be listed as an "out of unit" member for the other stake (just as our missionary couple were while they served in our branch). We called them to the positions, set them apart, and entered them into the computer system just as if their membership was in our branch, while their REAL membership record was still in Utah.
Hope that helps at least in part. You'll need the cooperation of clerks in both stakes, and of course permission of your home ward bishop and the stake presidents in both stakes to get the status in the other stake, but it's do-able. If the stake clerks aren't familiar with it, they have resources on a priesthood leadership help line that can walk them through the process.

is there someone who is called as the FHC Director? That would be the one that is making reports regarding the activity within the fhc. Our fhc is shared by 2 stakes, but because I am the director, I make the reports and submit them.

Good idea Elder @Chris Schmink !
I have 10 stakes that my FHC is supporting (& they support me) since my calling as FHC director (now "leader") June 2016. Our Area Temple & Family History Consultant couple (previously called "Advisors") over these 10 stakes asked our agent stake president (my stake president & their stake president) to request & collect the following at their monthly/quarterly Area Meeting with the other 9 stake presidents under the Area Authority:
1) Phone numbers, emails, addresses, names of all stake leaders with Temple & Family History coordination responsibility: stake president and/or counselor, stake clerk or executive secretary, high councilor over T&FH, etc. I or the T&FH Area Consultant email bulletin announcement updates to them.
2) Publicity coordination of flyers or posters in each building.
3) Annual budget assessment from each stake based on needs of the FHC beyond what the FM & FS budgets provide.
4) Names & contact info of Long-term Volunteers recommended to be considered as FHC Consultants. That missionary department form is at https://www.lds.org/bc/content/ldsorg/callings/missionary/church-service/Long-Term%20Volunteer%20Form%20-%20English-1.pdf
But I tell my volunteers to just return the form to me after their Bishop has signed it and after their stake presidency member has seen or acknowledged it (rather than to send it in to church headquarters).
For active Facebook users I can find in these stakes & become "friends" with, I request they ask to join my center's FB group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1863992580497053
