Assistance finding one person
Is there a way to get help from Family Search to assist in finding a specific person? There a couple people not too far up in my family, 3-4 generations back that I have been stuck on for years now. Do you have to hire someone? If so any recommendations? Thank you!!

Finding that one elusive person can be frustrating. I suggest going to the help function, the circle with a question mark in it at the top of the site and type in Where can I get help with my genealogy. Notice there is a free 20 minute consultation with an expert at the Family History Library. Click on the blue link and set up an appointment. There are other great suggestions that may help you find these ancestors.

You could post the specific details here, in a hope an experienced researcher could look at alternative ways - that perhaps you have not yet considered - of finding these individuals. Otherwise, you might have to employ a professional genealogist, with no guarantee they would find anything positive, either.

I could maybe help if you give more details such as the Family Tree ID, names, and places. It's helpful to have another set of eyes on things.
