Please advise what you mean.
Question: WHY do you need to add someone, to correct something?
Brett
ps: We do not have our OWN "Tree" in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', we ONLY have "Branches" (ie. Ancestral" lines), that are interconnected, in this SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us, that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

@MMoynihan2 MMoynihan2 Click on the word ‘Edit’ next to the incorrect information. Then you can enter the correct information.

as Brett points out - we need a little more info.
BUT in the family tree there are "edit" options related to just about every fact - that you can use to make changes with.
BUT please realzie this is a collaborative tree - - that we all work on together - not a private tree that only you can change.

There is a person married to a cousin that constantly adds people to my Tree that are not my ancestors. I have messaged him numerous times to please remove these people - I have birth certificates, census docs, etc on the site and he will not remove them. This has been going on for years -he is the person who makes these changes, not the cousin, whom I don't even know. He is a member of the Latter Day Saints and I have asked in Support emails for them to contact him to tell him to stop doing this - nothing!

this is incorrect information/people added by another person - see my response to Brett

Collaborative would be fine if the unrelated person would not add people that are not my ancestors - see my reply to Brett.

I see you have contacted the person based on your prior comments - thats unfortunate that you havent been able to work thngs out.

@MMoynihan2 MMoynihan2 I have some experience with this unfortunately. Do you know how to remove relationships in Family Tree?

@MMoynihan2 MMoynihan2
.
FYI
.
Apologies for my belated response ...
[ Traveling interstate, visiting Family (Children & Grandchildren) & Friends,
.. not seen for x12 Months, with (State) Border closures, due to COVID-19,
.. getting Computer time is spasmodic; &, Mobile Phones are NOT good for this ]
.
IF, you would have included, in your original post, what your response was to me; THEN, that would have put a totally different complexion on things ...
.
You are not alone ...
.
Most of us have ... been there, done that ... still do ...
.
In fact, just this morning (as, it is now 10:15, at night, my local time), I just sent a 'Message', to a User/Patron, who keeps (so-called) "Standardising" some PERFECTLY good 'Places' Name (in fact, addresses), that were ALREADY "Standardised", just to get the, totally UNNESSARY, "Map" 'Pins', to appear - no response as yet.
.
Now ...
That said ...
.
Lets take a moment ...
.
What is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?
.
Most new (and, some old) Users/Patrons DO NOT understand the basic nature and premise of "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', when they join in.
.
Please let me explain ...
.
We do not have our OWN "Tree" in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
We ONLY have "Branches" (ie. Ancestral" lines), that are interconnected, in this SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us, that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is NOT like 'On-Line' "Websites" (eg. "Ancestry_com"; or "MyHeritage_com"; or, the like); and/or, 'standalone' personal (computer) programmes (eg, the OLD, now no longer supported, "PAF"; or, "Ancestral Quest"; or, the like).
.
We DO NOT have "Private"/"Personal" 'Trees' in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' like other 'On-Line' "Websites"; and/or, 'standalone' personal (computer) programmes.
.
We DO NOT even, own; or, manage; and, are NOT even responsible for, the "Deceased" individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
And, also, as importantly ...
.
We DO NOT even, own; or, manage; and, are NOT even responsible for, our OWN "Ancestral" lines in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
But ...
That said ...
.
We just have to "Watch" (oops, sorry, "Follow") them ...
And, Address/Fix them, when necessary ...
.
"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is built on a "Open Edit" Platform - hence, why any registered User/Patron can "Edit" (ie. Add, Delete; and/or, Change) ANY "Deceased" individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
Plus ...
.
It makes NO difference, whatsoever, whether a User/Patron, is; or, is not, a Member of the Church - that has NO bearing, whatsoever, on things.
.
I have had an equal amount of problems/issues with (just) Users/Patrons, both, Member of the Church; and, non-members of the Church.
.
And ...
.
Requesting, 'FamilySearch' "Support", to even get onto the other User/Patron, to desist, in most cases, will go NOWHERE; as, unfortunately, such DOES NOT constitute (wanton) misuse; especially, if they are not responding unkindly (or, even, at all).
.
[ Unfortunately, the 'bar' is 'set very high' for (wanton) misuse ...
. and, 'Action', to be taken ... ]
.
I suggest that the "Theory" may be:
Just "Collaborate"; and, work it out, nicely, amicably, between yourselves.
[Good in "Theory"; but, NOT always in "Practice";
. especially, if they DO NOT respond to Messages (or, E-mails, if you are lucky)]
.
Basically, it just comes down to ... 'Survival' ... of the most persistent ...
.
Been there, done that ...
.
We ALL make mistakes ...
[ Some more than others ... &, some just do not want to, 'know'; or, 'hear' ... ]
NONE of us are perfect ...
[ Although, most of us THING we are ... ]
.
Anyway ...
Enough, of my ramblings' ...
.
I know that this does not help; but, I hope that is gives you some perspective to consider.
.
Just keep 'hanging in there' ...
Eventually ...
With the "Supporting" EVIDENCE/PROOF; &, persistence, you should prevail ...
.
Good Luck ...
.

Many of us have experienced exactly the same problem. I have had to detach relationships, which the other person has then restored. These actions were repeated a few more times before he finally gave up and left things alone. However, he never responded once to my polite messages, so I consider it fortunate I had more patience than him in sticking by my carefully researched inputs.
Sadly, FamilySearch will very rarely intervene / mediate in such instances. As has been pointed out, other users have as much right as you to make changes, whether or not they are related to the family members affected by their changes. It's very frustrating, I know, but the only alternative is to just keep your records in your own, private database. However, I appreciate this would be awkward if you are a LDS Church member.

Also ...
.
I know that these may not help ...
.
But ...
That said ...

Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':
.
[ Which, by the sounds of things, you have ALREADY done ... ]
How do I report changes or problems made by other contributors?
.
Where it states:
Quote
------------------
The goal of Family Tree is to help bring families together by creating the best-sourced, public genealogical Family Tree in the world. This requires a lot of collaboration and, as a result, means dealing with a lot of errors.
.
When you come across inconsistencies, keep in mind that inadvertent errors in dates, names, sources, relationships, and other items are not considered abuse. Another contributor may simply be using different data sources. Feel free to correct them when you can and to provide the best sourced information. You can also:
- Correct errors by working with other contributors.
- Use the Discussions feature to post research information for other collaborators.
- Use the Watch feature to notify you when any changes are made to a record.
- See the articles linked at the bottom for more detailed instructions on how to perform these tasks.
.
If you have questions regarding inadvertent, suspicious or potentially malicious errors in records that you are unable to resolve per the instructions above, contact FamilySearch Support.
------------------
.
HINT; Hint; hint ...
.
You may be able (and, like) to use/quote that "Last" Paragraph, in that "Knowledge Article", in your current and/or future communications with "Support" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
HINT; Hint; hint ...
.
Plus, you might ALSO want to REQUEST that your "Support" Case(s), be forwarded or passed 'up the line', to a 'Supervisor' or 'Line Manager' (ie. a "Higher" Level of "Support") - that often does the trick.

Part of a possible solution could be a function like they have in Wikipedia to lock-protect an article or thread or tree that is vandalised, spoofed or flooded.
But Wikipedia is also something anyone can edit...until the engine stalls.
Common trees are working fine in most cases, altough a great many wrong aliases with other spellings are launched alongside the trees.Sometimes even the machine software does this(Geneanet and others), so, ..
I have to admit it is a field with pitfalls.
