How do I remove a person from my family's tree?
Philbert tree, person at end is Philpott. A review in Find A Grave confirms this is not a relative and should be removed making way for true relatives.

Hello Laura,
Certainly a miserable situation.
Is the person attached to a spouse and children? If so, this is the way to correct that problem.
I hope this is helpful. I found it in the Help on FamilySearch.
Help Center:
A great Research source is Help Feature on FamilySearch.org. Sign into FamilySearch.org and your Family Tree.
On the upper right near to your name is a ? Question Mark. Click on that and when the confusing down box appears, click on "Help Center" at the bottom. When it goes to the next page, put your question in the Search Box. It takes a bit of time, using different search criteria to get the result you want. But likely it is there, just a bit hard to find.
Enjoy,
Anitra

Thank you so much, Anitra. This will help when I need instructions to merge some other family members' records. 🙂

could you supply PID's for the actual people in question in FS Family Tree?
Dont assume Findagrave is valid - just because someone reports their opinions there.
Base you actions on facts that are supported by evidence.

Good morning, Dennis,
Thank you for considering the question. My Philbert family member's PID is G7N9-ZDB and the Philpott parents' PIDs (64-65 years difference in their births from my family member's birth) are KLHM-X1K and LWP5-BMG.
