How to open up my tree to other members of the family

    I assume you are talking about your family being able to view living persons, which you have added to Family Tree. This request is frequently raised but, due to privacy issues, FamilySearch has still not been able to find a way of implementing this.

     

    By the way, this might seem to be pedantic but (as others will no doubt advise) you do not have a "tree" within the Family Tree program. Strictly speaking, not even a "branch", since the details of names inputted to Family Tree (except of the living) are available to be edited by any other users (e.g. distant relatives) who share a similar interest, so nothing / nobody "belongs" to you or your close family.
