I am looking for England 1841-2011 ten year census population totals by county, specifically the county of Essex. Have spent an hour trawling through Google hits with no luck so far.

Sorry, I don't understand your question. As I spent well over an hour looking I consulted dozens of databases.

Thanks. That is one of the resources that I looked at but the data is comparatively recent.
