Passenger List for Marianne Wischnewski (Wisniewski)
Marianne Wischnewski is listed in the Baltimore Index. Maryland, Baltimore Passenger Lists Index 1820-1897, film 00417370, DFN 0075335018, image 04710, Maianne Wishnewski. arrived 16 May 1883, ship Weser. When I try to locate her in the passenger list, her name does not come up? I can locate her on the Ancestry website but not the Familysearch website? She arrived with two children Rosa and Johann. Can you give me the DFN and image number?

Without doing any research, on my part ...
.
It is quite possible (and, more than likely) that the ACTUAL "Passenger" 'Manifest' (ie. List) is, NOT 'Available' ('On-Line'), in the Records of 'FamilySearch'; as, either, an "Index"; and/or, an "Image".
.
There are a number of 'Reason' for such, one being that; as, the Record is ALREADY available on "Ancestry_com"; and, as such, 'FamilySearch' (ie. the Church) is NOT able to make that Record 'Available' ('On-Line'); as, either, an "Index"; and/or, an "Image", due to "Contractual" Arrangements/Agreements with the Record "Custodian" (Holder/Archive).
.
There are many Records that 'FamilySearch' does "Hold"; but, due to "Contractual" Arrangements/Agreements with the Record "Custodians" (Holder/Archive), 'FamilySearch' CANNOT make those Records 'Available' ('On-Line'); as, either, an "Index"; and/or, an "Image" - as I suggested, there are many reasons for such.
.
Now ...
That said ...
.
IF, an "Index"; and/or, an "Image", of that ACTUAL "Passenger" 'Manifest' (ie. List), is available ('On-Line') at/through "Ancestry_com"; THEN, you have the option to, either, 'Transfer' that "Source" from "Ancestry_com" to the individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'; and/or, 'Create' a 'User-Defined" "Source" for the the individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' - provided you have an "Ancestry_com" Account [or, through a Computer at a "Family History Centre" of the Church, around the World (or, possibly, at an "Affiliate" Library", around the World)].
.
As an aside ...
.
Please be aware that 'Links' to such "Sources" that relate directly to "Ancestry_com" CANNOT be seen/accessed by Users/Patrons who DO NOT have an "Ancestry_com" Accounts, unless they access the individual/person from a Computer at a "Family History Centre" of the Church, around the World (or, possibly, at an "Affiliate" Library", around the World).
.
So in essence, such "Sources" should contain as MUCH "Detail", as possible, in the "Source", when created; as, some User/Patrons will ONLY have that "Detail" available to them - ie. NO "Index"; and/or, "Image".
.
I know that this does not help; but, I hope this gives you some perspective and other avenues.

That "Image", is of her "Passenger" 'Card'.
Do you have the references for the actual "Passenger" 'Manifest' (ie. List) of that ship in 'FamilySearch'?
Or, is that "Passenger" 'Manifest' (ie. List) for that ship what you are searching for in 'FamilySearch'?

The reference on Ancestry for the actual passerger list is Baltimore Passenger lists, 1820-1964, M255, Roll 37, image 338, NAI Number 265515. If you go to Ancestry and type in Marianne Wischnewski you will find the passenger list. Arrived 16 May 1883 on the ship Weser.
