    Is this an indexing question?

or just a question about how to enter a name from an illegible source into FamilySearch?

Problem with only part of two forenames being visible on deteriorated/torn pages. I think the two forenames should be Julian and Rodrigo. I can see all of Rodrigo but only part of the J and ian at the end, "J--ian".

Hi Dennis. No, I'm Reviewing. The Indexer ignored the J*ian name altogether and just used the first forename Rodrigo. I now understand how it's done correctly. Thanks for replying to me. John Davis

Yes - but my understanding is it part of the review process of the indexing project

Your question would be better posted in the indexing chat group instead.

@Indexing Chat - instead of this General Questions group - which rarely deals with indexing project issues.
