How do I search within my family tree for anyone connected to a particular place?
I live in a new state in the US, and I know there are several ancestors 8-9 generations back in my tree that lived here too. I'd like to search for them by location, but limit the results to only my tree rather than all of FamilySearch. How do I limit the search results to my ancestors only?

As you mean in/through your "Ancestral" lines in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySerarch'...

The best option for such in your "Ancestral" lines in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', is to use one of the "Third Party" Applications (being one of the "Family Tree Management" programmes) that is "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

Some of the "Third Party" Applications that are "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' have, BOTH, a Basic FREE version; and/or, a Premium PIAD (ie.
