This question was answered during the FHC Tech Support Zoom meeting. If upgrades to Windows 10 are needed on your computers, there will be several restarts during the process. If they are already Windows 10, patrons can use them without interruption, but computers should remain on through the week as inventories will be made.

You do NOT need to close the center. But you need to be aware that the computers during the update week, may at any time automatically reboot cause the patron to lose whatever information they were working on when the computer reboots. The Windows 7 computers will do more rebooting than the Windows 10 computers but are still subject to automatic reboots during the week.

I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, to the (Private) 'Group' being "FHC Technical Support (North America)", in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.
.
That 'Group', is a "Private" 'Group'.
.
IF, you have responsibility (ie. Stake 'Calling') in the "Family History Centre" in Seattle, Washington, USA; THEN, you can "Request" to "Join" that group.
