My forbears, John Simmons and Elizabeth Brown had their last Missouri child in 1853, and their next child in Sonoma, Ca. in 1859. Does anyone know how I can find out what wagon train they went on, and when? It was the only way to get there.

They must have went on the California Trail. Thanks for your help.

@sheridanlucas sheridanlucas​ How interesting.. I knew there were “wagon trains” but I never thought about it being the “only way” to get there ... interesting. I am going to Also tag the @Western United States Research​  @Midwest​ @Family History Research​ and @Missouri​ groups, they may be able to help with this. Also, if you could include their PID’s that would be helpful for the volunteers in order to be able to assist with this research 😊 Good luck!
