i am tracing to trace my family tree (Tanti) and my oldest ancestor has the surname De Tanti but from the information i found i believe that the original name of my ancestors was Tanto do you have any information on the Surname or even on where it originated thanks

'FamilySearch' DOES NOT do research for you, you do that through 'FamilySearch'.

'FamilySearch' in itself is not a One Name (Surname) study.

But, in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, there is a 'Group' being "Surname Specific Family History Research" with the 'Description' of "The intent of this group is to help others who are doing broad genealogical research of ANY specific surname in any location or period."

I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, in the 'Group' being "Surname Specific Family History Research", in the Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.

That 'Group' is "Public", if you wish to join and become a member.
