As an aside ...
.
Just in case you were not aware ...
.
You can go to ANY "Image" in a "Collection" that you want; and, it does not matter whether a "Collection" is, BIG; and/or, SMALL ...
.
FYI
.
Towards the top 'left-hand-side' of of the "Image" section, there is:
.
< Image X of N >
.
Where:
"X" is the image number of a particular image in that collection of images; and,
"N" is the total number of images in that collection
.
You can enter/substitute (ie. Change) a number between 1 and "N", in/for "X" ...
.
Pictorially:
..
.
I hope this might help.

@Isobel Crawley We'd love an example we can look at so we can see if we can find a solution for you. This is not something Support has encountered.

Thanks, Brett, but that doesn't solve the problem. Even if I type in the image number, it starts rendering with image 1 of the collection and then presents a flash of every image until it gets to the one I need.

I am unable to upload video. If someone in tech support wants to give me an email address, I can privately send.

I am NOT having any problems/issues with either. of those "Browsers".
.
And, some more 'Questions' ...
.
What VERSION of "FireFox" are you using?
What OPEARTING SYSTEM are you using?
