Tonight I came across a page of a whole bunch of relationships/family that were added. And then aboe that a bunch deleted. Does that mean they were added incorrectly??
I don't know how to find out what is true/correct, and what isn't. Here are my family members. My grandfather Otto Tarvainen
1910–1995 GM63-CPS. This is his father, my great-grandfather Aleksander Johansson Leppämäki 1875–Deceased L61N-RM7. It's when at look at info more specific with his father, is where I see the list of added and deleted. I will put his name and I believe proper info here, and then try to link the page I'm so confused by. Johan "Jussi" Tarvainen or Leppämäki 1817-1887 L6XY-CFG I'm so confused and don't know if I even have his father correct(the correct one with that name)

You actually have two questions there. I can answer the part about the Change Log and all the adding and deleting information and then someone in the @Nordic Countries Genealogy Research should be able to give you some guidance on where and how to do more research on your family in Finland.
First, the Change Log is exactly that; a list of all the changes to that individual record. When you scroll all the way to the bottom of the change log, you can see the original information that was input for this record and who submitted it. In this case the submitter was Melea Evelyn Bird and the original information was a Johan Tarvainen born 1817 in Vuorilahti, Finland and died 4 Apr 1887 in Leppämäki, Finland. Then she added a wife and a number of children, then another wife and more children. All of that occurred on 18 Feb 2014 and constitutes the original record (if you have some research questions...you might start by clicking on her name and sending her a message to ask about your research and connecting to that family.) Then you have RitaDenton in 2018 who added a more specific birth date and in March 2019 IsokangasMauriOskari39 merged the original wife (Lena Karlinstr. Koskenniemi) with a Helena Carlsdr. You can't see the merge on Johan's change log, you only see that he has a new Couple Event with wife Helena Carlsdr. and you can see all the 'Relationship Added' for all the children that were attached to Lena Karlinstr. that are now linked to Helena Carlsdr.' ID because the two IDs were merged. You also see that the relationship between Johan and Lena was deleted, again because of the merge. Then you have a merge of Johan "Jussi" with another Johan Tarvain also on 29 Mar 2019 by IsokandasMauriOskari39. Everything related to that merge is collapsed under the arrow next to Merge. Then you get to another bunch of relationship changes due to a merge with the second wife, Maria Laurintr...again you can't see the merge on Johan's page, only how the relationships changed. You get two additional merges for Johan on 29 Mar 2019 by Isokangas...one of which adds a specific christening date and location. And two more merges for Maria Laurintr. which cause all the relationship changes for their children on Johan's change log. Finally, you come to 9/10 Sep 2019 with a bunch of relationship changes by Kpsch regarding one child, David Johansson...which are all caused by a merge between a David Tarvainen and a David Johansson.
Hope this clarifies what is happening in the record! You might do well to contact all of those people who have submitted information, as they all seem to have some understanding of the research and might be able to help you forward your own research and make sure your are connecting to correct family.
Hopefully, someone in the Nordic countries group can help more with research as well!

Hello, this is a good example of problem which appears in Family Tree especially with Finnish people in western Finland and causes a lot of trouble.
Your family had a family name of Tarvainen and not Leppämäki and they are not interchangeable. Leppämäki was the name of croft (torppa) in which the family lived in. In western and southern Finland people usually were known after their patronymic or matronymic, e.g. Johansson=son of Johan or Johansdotter=daughter of Johan (Johaninpoika/Johanintytär in Finnish). In many areas before about 1880 when family with real family name moved into those areas, priests often did not use the family's family name in church records because most of the people did not have family names. Instead priests used the name of the farm or croft as an additional name to identify people for all people.
Birth record of Alexander Tarvainen says that his father was crofter Johan Leppämäki and mother Maria Larsdotter. In here the priest used the croft name as the last name and not his father's real family name Tarvainen which clearly can be seen in communion (Ripppikirja) and children's (Lastenkirja) books.
On many occasions people seems to have several different last names and that is because every time they moved, priest used their current farm/croft name. I have found persons who had like 5-6 different names.
This naming practice is causing this trouble in Family Tree because people do not know how to add names correctly. And you can see names like this: Johan "Jussi" Tarvainen or Leppämäki. Some people add all known names using "or" or "el." or "e" between names. This is incorrect naming practice. If person did not have a real family name, then you should use his/her patronymic in the Last name field and then add all additional names into Other Information section. And there is other naming practice which also causes trouble. Before about 1880 all church records were kept in Swedish even people used their Finnish names in normal life. Some researchers like to change all Swedish names into Finnish names even the person lived 1700's and there is no written records what was their real Finnish names. Many Swedish names have several Finnish version. E.g. Johan "Jussi" Tarvainen or Leppämäki, that "Jussi" is a Finnish version of Johan, but Jussi is not mentioned in any records. In his death record his name is Juho Paavonpoika Tarvanen. Jussi could have been his nickname or commonly used name. In Family Tree his name should be entered as following:
- In Vitals: Juho Tarvainen (because that was his Finnish name, he was a Finn and that name can be found from records) or you can use his birth record name Johan Tarvainen (Swedish).
- In Other Information - Alternate Name: add other known names separately: Johan Påhlsson Tarvain, Johan Paulinpoika Tarvainen, Johan Paulsson Leppämäki, Johan Leppämäki, Juho Paavonpoika Tarvanen

And your great-grandfather's name was all the time Alexander Johansson Tarvainen (Swedish) or Aleksander Juhonpoika Tarvainen (Finnish). You can add Alexander Johansson Leppämäki as an additional name even that name shoud be read as Alexander Johansson from Leppämäki (or Leppämäen Aleksanteri Juhonpoika).

I knew some about people taking on the name of the farm where they were at. I didn't know it was the priests that often did it.
What I guess is most confusing with all the merges and stuff is if it is simply names being combines so there aren't double records, or if earlier information was incorrect?

If existing information in a person record is incorrect, you go in and directly correct it (also providing any sources or notes on the reasoning of why you made the change.
Merges exist entirely for removing person records from the system that are duplicates of the same person regardless of differences in the two records (such as the names). When you have two records that represent the same person and there are differences in those records, those differences needs to be resolved during the merge process.
For example, if you had two records each with a different name spelling such as that previously discussed, you could first go to the record that you want to survive the merge, and add the name on the other record to the Other Information section, and then when that other record is merged into the surviving record, all of the information will be there.
