Is it possible to join a indexing group that is not in your ward?

I am a administrator for a indexing group in my ward. There is a group member that is not part of the ward who I would like to add to the group. However, whenever I look up her name in the spot one would do that in to send an invitation to join the group, it acts like she is not a person I can send an invitation to.

@derfskinsurf derfskinsurf There are two ways to have them join your group. You will need their FamilySearch contact name to invite them and they will have to give that to you themselves. The other way is to send them to Find Groups in the Groups section of the Web Indexing page, have them search for your group and request to join it.

One other way, would be to copy the URL (address) of the group you want them to join and send it to them in an email, assuming that you have their email address (essentially eliminates the search in the second method that Heather mentioned).
